Summary
The Warlock
This build is highly versatile, sustains heavy killing damage while maintaining survivability with constant blinks, toughness and stealth PU that gives aegis and -42% inc damage with 3 illusions. as with most PU builds it performs well even in 1vX situations. This is the kiting DoT machine version with gs/staff and it is difficult to catch or lock down always taunting and maintaining range, especially as most classes have a lot of melee.
Mirror heal gives perma swiftness and spammable constant effective heals. I also swap to Lemongrass Poultry food to reduce condi duration on the fly depending on situation. Slot in a condi remove like Disenchanter, null field etc if the extra stealth is not needed.
Weapon sets are actually flexible and up to your situation and needs. I've gone sword / focus and gs for aoe and reflection defense in 1vX situations, sword/sword and gs for strong damage pressure, sword / pistol and gs which coincidentally happens to be similar to another build on gw2 forums, sword / torch and staff (staff reduction trait) to capitalize on defense and the extra PU.
