Summary

This is my Tpvp build, have been using it for two months now. Works perfectly if you know how to play warrior, high damage/burst with main hand axe and great survivability because of shield/endure pain. This build requires you to have a brain and fingers to dodge. This isnt a bunker build.

You can easily assault far and hold it depending on what your team is doing that game. Your main role will be staying mid with the bunker to burst everything down.

Weapon and Skill Details

Chose Axe because you can really burst down almost anyone with Eviscerate if it crits. Im talking other warriors and guardians too, you can almost one shot thieves and eles if it lands. Necros death shroud means noting to you. Shield is there to use shield bash to set up the Eviscerate so you wont have problems landing it. Also Shield stance/endure pain is vital to keeping you alive while HS does its job. I used to Run Axe/Mace which was great but honestly you can get the same out of this build and survive longer.

Longbow This weapon is great for putting pressure on points and keeping people off. AA combined with the burst skill will destroy all Ranger spirits/most necro pets/all mesmer clones. It will also murder that thief/mes lurking around in stealth like a jackass thinking you cant hit them. We all know once rangers/necros/mes lose their pets they are nothing. You will want to clear out all of that and then either go in with axe or stay back and burst down everything. Your rotation will be #5 #3 and burst for obvious reasons.

We use Sig of rage for lyssa runes and the 3 stances for vigor when traited.

II. Traits

Adept Master Grandmaster

Trait Details

The traits you see above arent set in stone. You can add 20 to strength and get 10% bonus crit damage on MH Axe and only put 20 in defense.

In the Defense tree you always want to take surefooted but the last trait is up to you. Dogged march is cool but I also really like the trait Missile Deflection (Throwing engie grenades back at his team and such) Also shield master could be cool, i personally havent tried it out yet.

Discipline Only thing you could potentially change is Sig mastery for destruction of the empowered but I really wouldnt do it.

PS: Dont forget you do damage on dodge rolls. When it crits its 1-2k of dmg that you can use to keep the pressure on.

Upgrade Item Details

Zerker amulet is the key to this build, as is knowing how to stay alive and dodge and not stand in the red circles.
Valk or soldiers jewel is cool.

V. Basic Gameplay

While you only will have 2.6k armor with this build as long as you know how to play you shouldnt have any problems staying alive. I am frequently the last person standing. Dont be confused, you can still be bursted down by an backstab or another Axe warrior or a DPS guard if you let their slow ass catch up with you. But that is why you have shield stance so you can alternate between that and endure pain when HP starts getting low.

OF course you use Lyssa runes since conditions are crazy these days. Between lyssa/Cleansing ire and zerker stance you honestly shouldn't have problems with conditions at all. Of course this all depends on how you use them. You dont wanna pop all three stances and run into a fight in full retard mode. Only use them when you need them. You dont wanna use lyssa to clear 3 conditions, thats why you have longbow burst skill.

Longbow burst doesnt have to hit to clear your conditions, unlike all other burst skills, remember that.

Say your fighting a necro, you wait til he drops 6 on you, pop zerker stance + Ult and kick his ass while he is on Cd.

hi again, i'm still playing this build as meta-axe style, but here my alternatives:

discipline: signet master, destruction of the empowered, burst mastery
defense 30: spiked armor.

i think vigorous focus is too much and replaced it but sigil of energy on my bow.

check my build:
