Summary
A condition spec build that utilizes illusions and signets to aid with keeping oneself alive while making targets suffer from conditions.
Signet builds normally have a bad rep, so hopefully this build may be one of those that is actually viable.

Scepter/Torch + Staff provides various conditions and defensive maneuvers. Ether Feast can be swapped for Mirror.

Trait Details
Trait setup provides plenty of illusions to be made and keep conditions last a bit longer. Since using torch skills removes conditions, Cleansing Inscriptions isn't need, which means signets are not going to be as spamming (other than getting distortion).
Signet of Midnight Trick: Since it's instant cast, you can use it to prevent interruption when casting important skills (like elite skills). This will also prevent you from getting hit during that second. It can also be combined with The Prestige.

Upgrade Item Details
Sigil of Ice and possibly Might may be alternatives to Earth. Nightmare or Noble runes may be alternatives to Perplexity, but will need to test that.
V. Basic Gameplay
Either weapon sets can be used to start the battle but try to always have 3 illusions out at all times.
Starting Scepter/Torch - Scepter auto-attack or summon iMage to enter combat. Dodge to create another clone and either try to execute the auto-attack chain or block an attack to create a clone. From time to time, have an iMage up would help give extra condition and boon. Use Prestige to temporary lose aggro and AoE blind and be near targets for some AoE burn and/or combo finisher. Swap between the weapons periodically and resummon an illusion when there is less than 3 out. Use Signet of Midnight often for distortion and stunbreaker. Use Signet of Inspiration to share boons with illusions and/or allies and leave Signet of Domination alone as much as possible.
Starting Staff - Phase Retreat or auto-attack to get attention, summon iWarlock and then dodge. Use Chaos Armor for extra defense. Try to place Chaos Storm in a spot that can be beneficial to self or group and hindering foes (as well as provide combo leap with Phase Retreat). Swap between the weapons periodically and resummon an illusion when there is less than 3 out. Use signets as mentioned in scepter/torch gameplay.
