Summary
Hi! When I wanna see those fun big numbers in hotjoin I go with this ranger build. It's nearly maxdps direct dmg for a ranger but I wan't one stunbreak and some escape with greatsword. I've done Rapid Fires for 15k quite frequently.

Weapon and Skill Details
Longbow hits hard and it hits far. 1500 range on every skill except 4. Use it to your advantage. Play safe but shoot hard! Greatsword is nice for escape. If all CD's are up on it you can also combo leap + stun + maul. It hits hard! Heal as one got good HPS and can't get ripped of as a regen can. QZ for that extra burst. LR for a stunbreak and vigor. Remember when you got full endurance you do +10% dmg. SotH for kiteing/movement. RAO - pop it early as you gain might on each attack.

Markmanship: OS - does 5 extra stacks of vuln, rly good. SF - Don't dodge if you don't need to. EE - 5% range/dmg yummie.
Skirmishing: SE - even if you don't have alot of condidmg it adds up. AT - helps pet to get to target and follow it faster=more dps. QD - good for CD reduction on Longbow.
Wilderness: NV - awesome minor trait. WK - two survival utilitys equipped.

It's all in on Power and Crit. You're very squishy but with full Blood Lust Sigil stack you will have over 2500 power! Remember the Spotter trait +150prec only shows/work when in combat.

Upgrade Item Details
Stay away from taking dmg, use your 1500 range, use that 10% extra dmg Scholar Runes give on full hp. Finish ppl of with Bow to stack the sigil. If escape is needed = lightning reflex - dodge - swap to GS - and leap away. Get's you out of troubble most of the times.
V. Basic Gameplay
Main Skill Rotation
Start out by buffing might with pet. Pop RAO for fury and even moe might. Open up with HS for 15 vuln. Arrow makes 10 - trait makes 5 vuln. QZ to to burst followed by RF. If single target follow up with stun, else you can AoE with Barrage. If you get downed swap to Wolf and fear with F2.
