Upgrade Item Details

Pretty straightforward nothing to fancy just a balance between Dps and Survivability

V. Basic Gameplay

  • Not much to say... skill wise its a pretty basic build without any fancy combo or skill rotation .
just shout "For Great Justice" and summon the banners right before and again if needed during the combat while doing your respectable damage always protected by your tanky traits + good health regeneration Giving you an awesome survivability.

  • If you are about to do something where you should be very mobile (Dredge fractal final boss, WvW, underwater combat, etc) you should swap your Adept and Grand-master traits from the Tactics discipline [V] Inspiring Banners and [XI] Inspiring Battle Standard for [II]Lung Capacity and [XII]Vigorous Shouts and also swap your banner skills for "Shake it Off" and "On My Mark" or Dolyak Signet depending of the situations.

  • This build wasn't focused on WvW but for a Casual WvW using the Dolyak Signet option and Swapping [VIII]Last Stand from Defense tree for [X]Merciless Hammer equipping a PTV Hammer you will just need to remember to activate Dolyak Signet before giving your hammer stun. A secondary armor set PTV with Superior Melandru runes would boost you up and turn you in a more efficient hammer stunner. Iknow its is not a Perfect WvW Build is was not meant to be but i believe it does the job fairly well and the build will not let you down in a field battle/Zerg fight.

  • For World Bosses (TEQ Rising, etc) where you can't critical remember to swap Banner of Discipline for other Banner and Signet of Rage for the Battle Standard.

just tested the build (not yet with the same equipment and runes but close enough) and i got to say its AWESOME! this is the most balanced build i ever saw/used flexible not as much dps a zerker but it compensates boosting your team to a level above the usual

I Really like the idea of being able to easily go from shout support, to banner support(always has been my greatest dilemma with support warriors, which to do.) Seams like a nice all around support!

Hi i used the one with the mix of knights, zerker helm and soldier's boots, anything different from the previous build you posted? thanks
@ 05:45 AM, Sun January 26 2014 Reply
its pretty much the same the as old version its just a "clearer" version i guess don't think you would need to buy new equipment to stay on the edge... if you got the old version you should be just fine
@ 02:06 PM, Sun January 26 2014 Reply
what secondary weapons do you recommend? I personally use the longbow but I have used rifle too. thanks a lot
@ 09:31 AM, Mon January 27 2014 Reply
it really depends of the situation you facing usually is good to keep a ranged weapon as second but hammer would be way better if you in WvW with this build or axe/shield if you need to kite some mobs/boss

Please not he's missing a secondary weapon fix this so people can understand what to use if they're new to the game
@ 05:46 AM, Sun January 26 2014 Reply
the point was to use any wep in secondary slot (i myself change it a lot according with different situations)
