Very fun build that I've been using for the last 3 months. Good for taking and holding Mid point.

Weapon and Skill Details
Sword + Horn for mobility to get to points asap. Swap to hammer to chill foes and immobilize > smash to a pulp.

Trait Details
Balance between damage and survivability. May want to switch from Defense: Last Stand (VIII) to Defence: Merciless Hammer(X) depending on preference. I personally don't find the 20% recharge and 25% damage increase as being vital during my gameplay whereas being stunned or immobilized really hurts this builds efficiency.

Upgrade Item Details
Constant source of healing from shouts and condition removal from runes keeps you extremely bunker. 1 vs 1 usually ends in me just standing at point taking 0 ranged damage or 3 vs 1 surviving until support arrives to keep point. Sigil of hydromancy to rush up on someone and chill them to followup with complete immobilization with hammer skills.
V. Basic Gameplay
My gameplay usually involves me rushing to mid point asap with sword/warhorn. I am usually the first person at mid. At this time, I draw my hammer and fight on cap using staggering blow to knock enemies out of point.
Main Skill Rotation
Sword / Warhorn to get to point asap.
Staggering Blow to knock enemy off point > Backbreaker to Knock enemy down (off point) > Hammer Shock to cripple > Earthshaker to stun > Fierce Blow to weaken while they are still stunned.
Enemy has little room to recover and is usually easily taken down. Effectiveness multiplied with allies helping out on called target. Down time can and usually is instant.
