Weapon and Skill Details
You should be doing gs + sword/focus rotations. Swap sword to scepter against bosses with medium or large hitboxes.
Whirling Wrath - Hits up to 14x if your in a target's hitbox
Binding Blades - Hits with all projectiles if in a target's hitbox with adds around
Flashing Blade - DPS loss. Use only if you need the blind or vuln
Zealot's Defense - Not a significant gain over auto. Only use for projectile destrucition
Heal - Sancturay is best unless you can't block attacks (Mai Trin)
Wall - Always use when there are projectiles
Retreat - Always use if you can fit it in for aegis spam/block rotations
Purging Flames - Use for condition removal or to make a fire field to stack might
Shield of the Avenger - Use along with Wall if there are a lot of projectiles
Stand Your Ground/Hallowed Ground - Use one or both depending on how much stability is needed
Save Yourselves - Use if you have a free slot for short fights or for OP reflect
Bane Signet - Use if you have a free slot for long fights or constant fights
Elite - Use mainly Renewed Focus. Use Courage for Old Tom and Wrath for haste if you have no need for the blocks.

You can take 10 out of Zeal and put it to Honor if you really feel the need for shout cd and some vigor but it got nerfed and isn't really needed.

Upgrade Item Details
For day use Force + Accuracy for GS and Mace. Strength would be good choices for scepter and sword over accuracy if you don't cap out on might. Frality would be best for if you hit 100% crit and cap out on might for all 1h/focus sets.
V. Basic Gameplay
Use projectile defense, blind spam, binding blades to group mobs, and condition removal. This is why you bring a Guardian in a group. You have the best support a Guardian brings with this build and great DPS. Do rotations to optimize on DPS when possible.
